What an absolutely unbelievable year!
We would like to start by saying a massive thank you to everyone for making 2018 our best year yet. We had weddings galore, lovely little newborns, top models, dog shoots, family shoots, fitness shoots, corporate shoots, events! Wow!
The biggest thanks has to be to our couples, we’ve been spoilt rotten with different styles and ideas across so many different venues, with every wedding being unique and memorable. It’s been a photographers dream at times and we’ve made some amazing friends along the way, it truly has been a blast.
We’ve been all over the North East, creating some memorable moments. We shot our first wedding with a bride and groom mounted on their horses – amazing! Being Harry Potter fans, we’ve had the pleasure of shooting two HP themed weddings – wow! Back in a July wedding we were sitting watching England v Sweden in the quarter finals of the World Cup outside a stunning marquee in a field in Northumberland – unique!
The come down now is well and truly on and although we are looking forward to a break, it is so enjoyable reflecting on the year.
We did have our challenges too but super exciting challenges. We welcomed our little girl to the world in August which was life changing. It did also mean we needed some help as a second photographer to Davy. We would like to say a huge thanks to photographers Jay and Ryan who jumped in to help, and snapped some amazing shots.
We couldn’t write this without mentioning the fantastic people we’ve had the pleasure of working with, from videographers to make up artists to hairdressers. There are so many we would love to recommend to you so get in touch to chat, or have a look at our friends on our website.
So that’s it from us for 2018. We will have a lovely Christmas as a family of three for the first time and wish you all the best Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We are back in early Jan for some family and baby shoots before the wedding season starts for us. You can also catch us on 3rd March at Belle Bridals wedding fayre at Beamish Hall.
Love Faye and Davy
