We got the pleasure of shooting with young model May and took in some great sights.

This was a fun filled morning down Newcastle and Gateshead Quayside.

Playing with the new Sony A7R iii, we started our modelling journey at the graffiti walls by the Gateshead Sage. The colours and artwork worked as a great backdrop for May and her flawless looks.

We worked on different angles and lighting before moving closer to the Tyne to get the stunning backdrops of the bridges and city.

The quayside is perfect and in my opinion one of the nicest places in the UK (biased I know). It has so many opportunities for photographers and now includes a cool little beach – to which we used to our advantage. With sun loungers and these awesome summer huts, May worked her magic while we captured her moments.

We finished the shoot off by revisiting the graffiti walls to set off a smoke bomb. May wanted in on the action and danced with the smoke bombs which made the smoke move into the air and shape into her pose – fantastic.

Can’t wait to work on these and edit the final shots.
